Jammu, May 26: Keeping in view the sudden rise in Covid-19 active cases, Corporator Amit Gupta ,JMC conducted sanitization drive of ward no 19 Jewel Chowk ,Chand Nagar,Rani Mandir ,Kasim Nagar , Lajpat Maholla ,Rajinder ,Nagar ,Vikram Chowk and Canal Road.
During the sanitization drive, machine spraying was done in the lanes of Canal road. After the sanitization drive, Amit Gupta said that we can only defeat this virus by following the various SOP's given to us WHO to fight against COVID-19.
He said that it is duty of everyone to contribute in any possible way, but at the same time, He insisted that the biggest contribution will be not to venture out of our homes unnecessarily. He simultaneously appealed to all for strictly adhering to the guidelines issued by the enforcement agencies and to cooperate to check the spread of COVID-19 infection.
