President Beopar Mandal distributes ration, says distribution should continue till the lockdown is in force

Jammu, May 26: Fulfilling social and moral responsibility amidst corona virus scare, president Beopar Mandal & Distt. Genral Secretary Congress Gurmeet Singh on Wednesday distributed relief material among the poor and needy who have been most affected by the lockdown due to spread of deadly Corona virus in the city of Jammu area.
Prominent among those who accompanied Distt General Secretary Congress Gurmeet Singh include Ward no. 3, President Rajkumar sodhi, Suman Gupta, Deepu, Manohar, Amarpreet Singh, Sahil Verma, Poli and beside others.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurmeet Singh said that the way all doctors, nurses, policemen, sanitation workers and others working hard to combat the spread of COVID-19, all public representatives irrespective of political affiliations need to become frontline corona warriors in addressing grievances of aggrieved people.
He said no words were enough to thank these individuals who were selflessly carrying out their duties and inspiring fellow countrymen.
I would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude & appreciation for all the doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, police personnel, govt. officials, emergency response personnel, sanitation workers & volunteers who have come forward in this hour of need to fight the COVID-19.
On this occasion, he also interacted with needy persons and appealed them to cooperate with =Government and law enforcing agencies to break chain of Coronavirus. As the Government has announced lockdown to break the chain of deadly Corona Virus and to mitigate the problems of the labour class and the poor people who have been affected by the lockdown due to COVID-19, Gurmeet Singh said that the process of relief material distribution should continue till the lockdown is in force.
