Jammu, Jun 15: Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity. The official journey of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” started on 12th March, 2021. The main objective of the week long celebration from 9th to 15th June under the patronage of Principal Ravender Tickoo was to have an online campaigning as Janandolan, featuring Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat, India's glorious history, showcasing India's development with the theme "Progress of India Post Independence."
Various activities were performed like slogan, essay, poetry writing, poster making, online mushaira, debate, online quiz and extension lecture by a renowned historian Prof. Jigar Mohd, Department of History, University of Jammu.
The whole event was coordinated by NSS POs and NCC ANOs Dr. Deepali Mahajan, Dr. Anjana Sharma, Dr. Fraz Ahmed and Dr. Narender Kumar. NSS volunteers and NCC cadets, students participated with enthusiasm and full patriotic zeal. Tanisha, Muskaan, Parul, Arpna, Nancy sharma, Shaku, Ajinka, Pallavi, Neeru devi, Suhani sharma, Shifali choudhary, Madhurya, Shrenya, Sahil wassan, Radhiya, Nikita syal, Sheen dhar, Mitali, Sunandini sharma, Anchal, Monika, Shriya, Suhasini, Rupani participated in seven day long workshop |
