| Non Gazetted Electrical Employees Association expresses shock over deaths | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 15: J&K Non Gazetted Electrical Employees Association President Fareed Ahmed Mir, General Secretary Md. Maqbool, Gurmeet Singh, Raj Kumar, Zakir Hussain Shah, Surinder kumar, Ajay Sharma and others expressed shock and anguish over the death of some PDD employees recently due to the total negligent and inhuman attitude of the authorities resulting in the death of Gh Kadir Kallo R/o Tulamula Ganderbal, and Sartaj Ahmad of Kulgam. Gh. Kadir Kallo was working in Receiving station Tulamula as a daily wage employee. He while facing acute poverty had some poisonous substances because of nonpayment of wages by the STD authorities and one employee of Kulgam died due electric shock. Other of Jammu namely Madan Lal was also injured and hospitalized due to electric shock. The JKNGEEA while expressing its heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families demands an immediate enquiry on these incidents and sanctioning of ex gratia relief and an employment to the dependents of these families.
JKNGEEA while condemning the negligent and inhuman attitude of the concerned authorities expressed its full solidarity with the bereaved families and urged upon the local units to provide some immediate relief to the victim families.
