DSEJ's 2-week online orientation program on Pre-primary Education begins

JAMMU, July 5: Directorate of School Education Jammu in collaboration with Alphatub academy has organised a 2-week online orientation program for Pre-primary teachers on the use of customised Alphatub alphabet board, which are being provided to 50 Pre-primary schools, free of cost by Alphatub private Ltd. It is pertinent to mention here that the School Education Directorate has established a good number of pre-primary sections in government schools of Jammu division.
Fifty of these pre-primary schools have been chosen for free distribution of the innovative alphabet kits and the teachers engaged in these pre-primary sections have been nominated to undergo this training workshop, which aims at equipping them with the necessary orientation to operate these kits. In the next 2 weeks, the teachers will be trained in the use and online operation of the alphabet kit for its subsequent use in introducing kids to English language.
First day of the workshop witnessed good response from the participants who actively participated in the proceedings of the workshop.
On the directions of Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu, the training is being supervised by Mamta Sharma, Deputy Director Planning, Directorate of School Education Jammu whereas Jaswinder Kour, coordinator DRC and her team is managing and conducting the training programme.
