Vishwakarma Samaj contributing a lot in nation’s progress: Sat | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 5: A Committee meeting of members of Vishwakarma Sabha, Bakshi Nagar was held in which they discussed some demands and asked Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) to intervene and look into their demands and complete them in a stipulated time frame. The meeting was mainly attended by District President BJP Munish Khajuria, Sabha President Rakesh Chalotra, District BJP Spokesperson Ravi Kant Sharma, Sabha General Secretary Jagdish and other committee members. The Sabha highlighted the demand for granting them the Constitutional right of reservation to OBCs and taking up various developmental works in Sabha for which they gave a memorandum to Former MLA. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that their demand will be taken up with the UT and Central Government and best possible things will surely be done by PM Narendra Modi led Central Government in this regard. He said that there were certain other demands as well including setting up and expansion of existing community hall which was constructed by the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA and he said that more assistance will be provided to the Sabha with the help of departments which will take up pending works. Sharma said that Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be one of the most sacred identities and he stated that whatever possible will be done to assist the Sabha. Munish Khajuria said that from time to time Sabha and its team are doing a great amount of social work and it has been seen during the pandemic that Community langars and ration distribution was done by them in order to serve the needy in the best way possible. Sabha expressed their gratitude towards Former MLA and said that his dedication to serve the society has brought many reforms in the Jammu West Assembly segment. |
