| Orientation, refresher course held | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, July 5: One week "Orientation/refresher Course for the officers/officials of executive wing" commenced at S.K Police Academy Udhampur today.
Sixteen (16) officers/officials of the rank of Constable to Inspector attended the training programme. The course was designed to refresh participants about latest development in the field of investigation, legality changes due to J&K re-organization act besides other important aspects of investigation.
The course was inaugurated by Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor) SKPA Udhampur. During his inaugural address Mohan Lal, SSP welcomed all the course participants on behalf of Director S.K Police Academy Udhampur and intimated that the course is designed to raise awareness about role and responsibility of executive police, awareness about Criminal justice system in India and other vital aspects to ensure the credibility of executive police.
He laid stress on enhancing the knowledge and hold that there is always scope for improvement. He further apprised the participants that different types of speakers expertise in different fields are being called to deliver lectures on different topics and hoped that the participants will gain plenty of knowledge from their interactions. At the end he conveyed his best wishes to all the participating officers and asked them to implement the sum of ideas/knowledge to be acquainted from training programme in their respective field of deployment. |
