| DYS&S Pulwama organizes Yoga event at Lassipora | | | Early Times Report
PULWAMA, July 8: To commemorate 75 years of progressive India, under the campaign 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav,' the District Youth Services and Sports (DYS&S) department Pulwama today organized a one day Yoga event at Govt Higher secondary School Lassipora, here.
Gh Mohi ud Din Mir, BDC Litter Lassipora and Sajad Raina Dy. BDC Litter were invited as special guests in the event.
The programme witnessed participation of a number of students and teachers from different schools of the zone Lassipora.
On the occasion, BDO Lassipora lauded the efforts of students who participated in this event and also, encouraged them to perform yoga asanas at home to overcome the challenges posed by covid-19 pandemic.
He also motivated the students to adopt the yogic way of life for achieving success in all frontiers of life.
Among others, senior citizens and Departmental Officials besides other concerned participated in the programme. |
