Army plays pivotal role in mitigating COVID-19 pandemic in Rajouri | Distribute Covid kits at Siyal village | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, July 8: The Indian Army has been playing a vital role in mitigating the COVID19 pandemic in the district and the army troops are reaching out to the far and wide place in the remote border district. As a part of its efforts to counter the pandemic in the district, the troops of the Rashtriya Rifles today made a round of the Kalal town and distributed more than hundred COVID kits to the people at Siyal village. The troops interacted with the general public and made them aware of the causes of the spread of coronavirus infection and the ways which can be adopted to remain safe from the deadly virus. Army doctors also interacted with Veteran/Widows and apprised them of the causes of the Black and White fungus as well as preventive measures for the same. The villagers thanked the Army officials for their whole hearted support and requested continuance of this noble gesture. The outreach by Indian Army in this distress time has been a blessing to many people in the remote border towns of Nowshera and Kalal.
