NBF demands recruitment policy for unemployed dental surgeons
7/8/2021 11:44:27 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 8: Nirbhay Bharat Foundation (NBF) has extended full support to the ongoing protest launched by the dental surgeons in Jammu and demanded a recruitment policy for them.
In a statement issued to media here today, Chairman NBF, Tarun Uppal castigated the previous regimes in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir for their utter failure to address the genuine demands of the dental surgeons of this sensitive region.
Uppal claimed that more than 7000 families of unemployed dental surgeons are waiting for recruitment and more than one thousand unemployed dental surgeons stand over-aged without facing Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) interview even once. Is this not an irony of this newly created Union Territory, he questioned? He lamented that it is a matter of great astonishment that only 543 dental surgeons have been recruited through JKPSC in J&K from 1947 till date.
Tarun Uppal made a fervent appeal to the government of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory led by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to formulate a meticulously planned policy for the unemployed dental surgeons so that all of them could get recruited after undergoing a due selection process conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission besides recruitment of Dental Surgeons under other centrally sponsored schemes.
