JKPCC Minority Cell demands implementation of minority commission

JAMMU, July 8: The monthly meeting of the minority deptt of JKPCC was held here today at Congress headquarter, Shahidi Chowk under the chairmanship of its vice chairman S. Gurdarshan Singh, the various issues related to the general public were discussed in the meeting.
While speaking in the meeting S. Gurdarshan Singh expressed his resentment over the continuous ignorance of genuine demand of minority commission the government instead of turning blind eye to our demand should understand the woes of the minority communities.
He said the development and progress of the minority communities in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory is only possible when the minority commission is implemented in the Union Territory as early as possible.
Michael Wazir State Coordinator said the ratio of unemployment in the Union Territory is at its peak, educated professional youth are either on strikes or dharna, the government instead of turning a blind eye to their woes should take steps at the earliest to mitigate their suffering
S. jagjeet Singh retreated its demand of, making Punjabi language an important subject in Govt and private school, he also demanded four Assembly seats for Sikh, two for Christian and two for Dogra Muslim communities to mitigate the problems being faced by these communities.
