Apni Party appeals to accommodate ORT migrants of Purkhoo Camp suitably forthwith

JAMMU, July 8: In continuation to Apni Party's mass outreach programmes, one such programme was organized at Purkhoo Migrant Camp Jammu to discuss and deliberate up on the basic genuine problems being faced by the one room tenements(ORT) migrant families living in pathetic & unhygienic conditions there as well taking programmes and policies of Apni party to grass root level.
Outreach programme was organized by Apni party Camp President Purkhoo Jammu indeerjeet Raina & his team that was chaired by Vinod Pandita State coordinator Displaced Kashmiri Pandits Jammu Division.
He was also accompanied by Sanjay Dhar State Coordinator Displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Kashmir Division, Vaibhav Mattoo, District Vice President Jammu urban, Apni party leaders Vishal Jotshi, Deepak Bradoo & Vinod Bhat.
G.L. Pandita Apni party leader in his speech highlighted basic genuine problems of ORT(one room tenaments) Purkhoo like regularization of the camp by availing all basic facilities of life like supply of pure drinking water, regular supply of electricity, allotment of suitable accommodation to more than hundred families living here in miserable and pathetic condition in temporary arrangements, sanitation, immediate repair and renovation of these temporary one room tenements to make them worth living etc.
He appealed Party leaders to take up these important issues with concerned authorities for it's immediate addressal in a time bound period.
He said after inspecting the whole camp along with his team, Pandita said such basic camp can not be ignored and left un-attended .
Pandita assured the residents that he will up their genuine problems with Party's senior leadership vigorously for early their early mitigation on humantarian grounds.
Sanjay Dhar in his address said that Government needs to address the problems of Kashmiri Displaced migrants on priority basis as well should accommodate all such migrants who are still living in miserable conditions in various temporary camps and non camps for last more than three decades.
Dhar also congratulated the new entrants in the party and urged on them to work for the betterment of the party by taking the policies and programmes of the party to gross root level as it is the need of the hour.
