DC Kathua launches Online Services for issuance of Certificates

KATHUA, July 20: In an effort to facilitate and save time and resources of people, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Yadav today launched and dedicated seven revenue certificate services to the people viz. income certificate, Marriage Certificate, SC/ST Certificates, Legal Heir Certificate, OBC/RBA/ALC Certificate, Character and Dependent Certificate here today.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Puneet Sharma; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Atul Gupta; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Suresh Chander; Registrar Narayan Dutt Sharma, Tehsildar HQ Suninderjeet Kaur, Tehsildar Gourav Sharma were present at the inaugural ceremony.
After launching the online services, the DC said that these services have been started in all the eleven tehsils of Kathua district viz. Kathua, Hiranagar, Basohli, Bani, Billawar, Ramkot, Dinga Amb, Marheen, Nagri Parole, Mahanpur and Lohai Malhar.
The residents of the entire district can now apply online for any of these certificates without any geographical restrictions and can receive digitally signed certificates online. The candidates have to register themselves on the portal the link of which is made available on the website of Kathua District (https://kathua.nic.in/citizen-services/).
While giving details of the launched services, DIO Informatics Kiran Kumar Koul said the registered user has to fill the application form for the desired certificate and submit it on the portal. The submitted application form will automatically be available in the office of the concerned Tehsildar, which after proper procedure will process and approve the service online. After approval, the applicant will get the digitally signed Certificate on the registered email address and can be downloaded. The applicant can check the online status of his application.
To ascertain the genuineness of the document, a unique URL along with QR code is generated on each document issued digitally.
