JAMMU, Aug 4: Hockey J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council organized a function to start plantation drive.
In this function Dr. Zafar Iqbal JKAS Chief Accounts Officer J&K Sports Council was the chief guest. After planting the sapling of Amla in Green Field Play Ground, Gandhi Nagar Jammu he said that green India campaign should be carried to the extent that within few years our Union Territory should become number one state in forest cover.
Recently Corona pandemic has alerted the humanity to save environment and plant more trees. Dr. Taran singh Secretary general Hockey J&K was also present on the occasion. |
