| 42nd foundation day of Shiv Mandir Rangpur Basti celebrated | | |  Early Times Report
RS PURA, Aug 6: The 42nd Foundation Day of Shiv Mandir, of village Rangpur Basti, RS Pura celebrated today at its premises. A large number of devotees from the area and adjoining areas thronged the temple. The celebrations started with Havan followed by Abhishek, Arti and Amritwani, which was further followed by address by Pandit Barun Sharma, head priest of the temple.
The temple committee in the Shiva temple of village Rangpur Basti RS Pura (Jammu), with the cooperation of local priest Pandit Barun Sharma and the villagers celebrated 42nd holy idol installation day of Shiv family on the auspicious occasion of Shravan month. The temple committee in the Shiva temple to mark the occasion organized a three-day Shiv Mahapuran Katha for the speedy rooting out of Covid-19 pandemic from the world so that people across glove can live without fear and panic. |
