Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 24: The five day training programme of investigators on, "Safety of Women" and 05 days training programme on "Cyber Forensics" commenced at S.K.Police Academy Udhampur. 35 police officers from all over J&K are participating in the training programme. Sargun Shukla, IPS, SSP, District Udhampur was the chief guest on this occasion. Sh. Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP Dy. Director (Indoor) welcomed the chief guest and gave introductory speech. In the inaugural address Madam Sargun Shukla, IPS, said, "People not only repose trust in the investigating agencies bust also expect them to be tech. savy so that the criminals do not escape punishments. Legal and technical know how particularly operating CCTNS system is inevitably important so that an investigating officer is confident while being examined as prosecution witness. Seeing women with sensitivity, creating an atmosphere free of intimidation, be it work place, enroute, is the responsibility of Police" The inaugural session was also attended by Dr. Kavita Suri, Director Deptt. of Life Long Learning University of Jammu, Suraj Singh, Dy.SP AD (Training/ R&D), K.K. Sharma, Dy.SP, AD(Q). Ramesh Kumar, Dy.SP Pvt. Secy. to Director SKPA, Udhampur. The course is being coordinated by Sh. Sunmati Gupta, Dy.SP, AD (Outdoor) and Inspector Sukhvir Singh member faculty. |
