| DDC Hiranagar calls on CS; raises demands of Hiranagar people | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 24: District Development Council (DDC) member Hiranagar Abhinandan Sharma met Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta to apprise him about the various problems being faced by the people of Hiranagar constituency.
During the meeting, the DDC member raised the demand for opening of J&K Bank branch at Chakra Hiranagar, special electric feeder for tubewells for smooth water supply and sanctioning of more borewells for Kandi area of Hiranagar constituency.
Sharma also demanded that the process of issuing IB Reservation Certificate in favour of border people should be expedited. He also demanded for improvement of internet service/mobile network in particular border villages of Hiranagar.
Several other issues with regard to public importance also came under discussion during the meeting with the Chief Secretary.
The Chief Secretary listened to the demands raised by the DDC member patiently and assured Sharma for early redressal of the same. |
