Earlier, Resource Person from Ramtech (DILRMP), Jammu Dr Kesari Rana informed that with the completion of digitisation of Revenue Records, SWAMITVA programme will be launched to provide an integrated property validation solution for rural India. He said the demarcation of Rural Abadi areas would be done using Drone Surveying technology. He added that the system would provide the 'record of rights' to village household owners possessing houses in inhabited rural areas in villages which, in turn, would enable them to use their property as a financial asset for taking loans and other financial benefits from the Bank. It is pertinent to mention here that a similar awareness programme was organised by the Revenue Department to create awareness regarding National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) on 19th of July 2021 to educate stakeholders. |
