Cong, JKIM urges LG administration to blacklist some blackmailer RTI activists | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Aug 24: There are some active RTI activists in border district Poonch who's aim is to file application under Right to Information Act (RTI) and later blackmail many honest and dedicated officials for their personal interest. According to the sources some active RTI activists are backing by some blacklisted activists who are illegally harrassing the official. Senior Congress leader Taj Mir and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Insaaf Movement Javid Reshi held press conference here today in Poonch wherein they urged Lieutenant Governor administration of Jammu and Kashmir to trace out these blackmailer activists and blacklist them at earliest. Taj Mir said, "these so-called activists are barriers in development, these should be punished under law". Javid Reshi said, "these activists who have defamed Poonchis, and make misuse of RTI Act should be blacklisted as soon as possible". They assured district administration and information department of Jammu and Kashmir that they will cooperate administration to trace out these so-called and anti social elements of the society for better governance. They said, "these activista have been the problem for Poonch development" they should be punished and blacklisted at earliest for bright future. |
