Jammu, Sept 4: The 3 day Inter-School Zonal Level competitions/trials of Boys and Girls organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Akhnoor in the disciplines of Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Tug-of-War, Badminton, Chess & Carrom under AAG concluded at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor to pick up teams for the upcoming Inter-School District Level competitions.
The trials were organised under the overall supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer Akhnoor, Sh Tarsem Singh on the directions of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, Sh Sukhdev Raj Sharma. The players of different institutions of Zone Akhnoor were participating in the said trials. The main aim of selection trials is to select the best players for the next level of tournaments/competitions coming ahead. The Trail-cum Selection is being conducted by the Technical panel of experts of Youth Services & Sports Department including Sh Ashok Kumar, Sh Madan Lal, Sh Ashnak Raj Sharma, Sh Ravan Kumar Gupta, Sh Ramesh Chander, Sh Pritam Lal, Sh Jagdish Raj Sharma, Sh Gurmukh Singh, Sh Rajesh Kumar, Sh Jagdev Singh, Sh Suram Singh Choudhary, Sh Vivek Sharma, Sh Vijay Kumar, Sh Shambu Dutt, Sh Rahul Dev Singh Pawar, Sh Rinku Kumar, Sh Vikram Jamwal, Smt. Chander Prabha, Smt. Darshana Devi, Smt. Indu Bharti, Smt. Sujata Kumari, Smt. Rita Rani, Smt. Manjeet Kour, Smt. Sushma Kumari and other officials of YS&S Department of Zone Akhnoor.
