Jammu, Sept 4: GDC Vijaypur organized Online National Level Webinar to celebrate Teachers day with the aim to acknowledge the challenges, hardships and special roles that teachers play in our lives. Students and teachers of various Institutions across the Nation participated with great zeal, enthusiasm and fervor.
Dr. Usha Rani, Assistant Professor GLDM Degree College Hiranagar expressed her views on the role of teacher inbuilding the nation, igniting and chiseling the raw minds of the students thereby enhancing and unleashing their hidden potential so that they achieve their targets.Many students and faculty of various colleges shared and saluted the digital teacher who have guided and inspired and taught them in the testing Corona pandemic times leading to modification of behavior, all- round growth, development and personality of the students.
The whole event was organized under the able guidance of Dr.Sangeeta Sudan,Principal of the College. In her address she gives her best wishes to all the teacher community on this special day. She apprised that teachers nourish and prepare students for their future as they are the real icons of knowledge, inspiration, motivation and wisdom. They create awareness among the students and are the source of light in the world that has been darkened due to ignorance. Further, she added that our teachers are the true pillars of our society and help students to gain knowledge, improve skills, build confidence as well as help to choose the right path to success. The event was co-ordinated by Dr.Sunil Kumar Mangoch, NSS (PO) and the formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Anil Bhagat. |
