| St. Xavier’s Convent School organises ‘Fit India Freedom Run’ | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Sept 4: To spread the message of fitness and to get freedom from stress, anxiety, obesity etc among the people of Kathua, ‘Fit India Freedom Run’ was organized by the cadets of 4 J&K Battalion NCC Jammu, St. Xavier’s Convent School Kathua, on Saturday.
The event was organised as per the directions of NCC directorate of UT of JK&L and Col R M Sharma Commanding Officer 4 J&K Bn NCC Jammu.
The run was flagged off by Vice Principal Sr Rose Mary. It was commenced from St. Xavier’s School Kathua and passed through Police Post Industrial Estate, JK Bank Govindsar Via Hatli Morh Kathua and culminated at the same venue. 21 cadets actively participated in it.
Vice Principal Sr Rose Mary motivated the cadets to take active part in these types of events in order to keep one-self healthy, fit, and free from diseases.
She appreciated the enthusiasm of both cadets and ANO.
She also encouraged the cadets and assured them every help possible. The whole event was organised under the supervision of ANO B D Sharma. |
