| PDTA celebrates World Taekwondo Day | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, Sep 4: Poonch District Taekwondo Association (PDTA) celebrated International World Taekwondo Day under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council at Sports Stadium Poonch. More than 200 young budding players of Taekwondo took part in this mega event. The chief Guest of the ceremony was Liaqat Ali, Additional Superintendent of Police Poonch while Prof Fateh Mohd Abassi was guest of honour and Nirdosh Kumar, I/C Manager Sports Stadium Poonch was special guest of the occasion. Earlier Rajinder Singh, Taekwondo coach and Physical Education Teacher from DYSS welcomed the chief guest and the gathering. Later he highlighted the achievements of District Poonch in Taekwondo.
He also extended his best wishes to all the Masters, Coaches, Referees NR, IR and all fraternity of Taekwondo around the world on the occasion of World Taekwondo Day
Speaking on the occasion chief Guest Liaqat Ali congratulate Poonch District Taekwondo Association and Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association and all the young budding players of Poonch on the occasion of World Taekwondo Day. Prominent others who were present included Prof Nazak Hussain Shah, Zaffar Shah President Poonch District Cricket Association, Matinderpal Singh Hockey Coach, Abhinav Dabur Jr Engineer, Gurvinder Singh PET, Amit Sharma Organizing Secretary PDTA, Ashaq Hussain International Taekwondo player and Hassan.
