GDC Kathua organizes poster making competition on "Clean India Green India" | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Oct 5: In continuation to the celebration of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti under 'Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav' and 'Clean India' campaign, NSS Units Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua organized a poster making competition today. The theme of the competition was "Clean India Green India". Twenty volunteers participated in the event. Bavita Devi got first prize in the competition. Second prize was shared by Sakshi Bhau and Khushi Jasrotia while third prize was shared by Sheetel Devi and Aliesha. Mohit Verma got consolation prize. The other volunteers were also acknowledged with certificates of participation. Prof Rajesh Chalotra, Deptarment of Zoology, Dr Renu Gupta Department of Mathematics and Dr Rachna Devi, Department of Mathematics acted as judges in the competition. Incharge Principal Prof Raj Kiran was chief guest on the occasion. In her address she congratulated the winners and participants and appreciated the role of program officers to provide platform for the young budding talents. Prof Kailash, Prof Sumit Dubey, Prof Shub Kumar, Prof Amit Dua, Prof Kamini Kapoor and Prof Rajneesh Isher also attended the programme. The event was organised under the patronage of College incharge Principal and under the supervision of NSS Programme Officer, Prof Manmohan Singh, Prof Ritu Kumar Sharma and Prof Neha Bandral |
