That means out of 1100 seats we will be left with just 186 and for open merit, only 100 seats will be left for the open merit for J&K students. This will benefi Out of 1100 PG seats we will be left with only 180; Admin has brought even doctors on streets students from other parts of the country as they will come to J&K complete specialization and move back to their own states. If we get selected in another state after completing specialization we will have to serve there till we complete the contract there. In the first place getting selected in other states will be difficult as the facilities provided to us are not at par with other places and we are being told that only 10% reservation will be given to J&K students.” They said, “The government has deferred the decision by one year but we want the proposal to be dropped. If the administration goes ahead it will shatter our dreams to attain specialization.” The doctors said that when Article 370 was revoked, Jammu people celebrated the move and stood by the government. “But in return we are being traumatized.” “The administration has also brought the doctors on the streets and we will continue our protests till our demands are met,” they said. |
