| Red Ribbon Club, GDC Majalta organizes awareness campaign | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 18: Red Ribbon club of GDC Majalta in association with J&K AIDS control society organized an awareness campaign under the banner of Plan of campaign @75. Prof. (Dr) B B Anand, Principal of the college acquainted students with TB and AIDS. He proposed preventive measures to fend off these deadly diseases.
Dr. Neha Sharma, HoD Environmental Sciences, briefed students about the Red Ribbon Club and delivered a lecture on ‘HIV and our Immune system’.
She emphasized on the importance of the immune system for a healthy long life. Various activities were being conducted in off-line mode to spread the word.
Students enthusiastically participated in poster and slogan writing competitions organized under this banner.
Dr. Seema Rani Minhas and Dr Suresh Sharma assessed these activities. All the faculty members of the college were present during the campaign.
The final verdict of different activities organized under the banner of plan of campaign @ 75 will be accomplished on October 20. |
