| Orientation program on children’s science Congress held in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Oct 18: An online orientation programme on the theme “Science for Sustainable Life” was today organised by the Education Department in collaboration with National Children Science Congress.
Harpreet Singh, Coordinator NCSC of GHS Logate hosted the session program meant to inform the teachers of district Kathua about the upcoming 29th national children’s science Congress. About 72 teachers of government as well as private schools attended the webinar.
Key speakers on the occasion were Dr. Ashaq Hussain - National Evaluator; Zaffar Ullah Khan - State Coordinator; Kuldeep Gupta - State academic Coordinator; Jawas District Coordinator, Ramban; S. Tajinder Singh District Coordinator, Poonch; Paawan Vivek DRG, Kathua and Deepak Sharma - Technical Admin.
The speakers laid stress on preparation and presentation of the NCSC projects to develop the scientific spirit amongst students and the ability to apply methodology of science in day-to-day life.
The program was organised by District Resource Center Kathua, Directorate of School Education, Jammu under the supervision of CEO Kathua, Parkash Lal Thappa. |
