Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 18: Continuing its efforts for the propagation of 1098, child rights, issues and to provide exploitation free environment to the children, the CHILDLINE Jammu organized a camp on "Mental Health " at Deaf and Dumb School run by Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Shahidi Chowk Jammu and Residential School for Blind, Roop Nagar Jammu. During the programme, which started with the cutting of cake, other than educating the children about 1098, CHILDLINE Jammu staged a mono skit for the children and made the children play the game of musical chair with sign language. Further to come across the difficulties faced by the children, CHILDLINE invite them to express their thoughts and ideas with different hand and body gestures. The function was organized in collaboration with District Social Welfare Department, Jammu and under the guidance of Prof Satinder Kumar HOD Department of Law, University of Jammu and Ajay Salaan, DSWO/ Director CHILDLINE Jammu and coordinated by Rohit Khajuria and Pinky Jain, Coordinators CHILDLINE Jammu in association with Roshan Bhan and Shahbaz Ahmed Principal and Superintendent Home. The head of the institution appreciated the role of CHILDLINE and urged CHILDLINE to conduct such activities in near future as well for the development of the children. CHILDLINE team members including Sakshi Bali, Rajpaul Sharma, SC Bali, Mridulla Sharma, Gurmeet Kaur, Sunil Kumar and Neel Kumar played a crucial role in making the event a success. |
