| Ayushman Card Joke: Victim files written complaint against hospital | | |

Jammu, Nov 18: After exposure by the Early Times, authorities have started the process to ensure that all cardholders of Ayushman cardholders will get treatment in all private hospitals of J&K.
Victim Naresh Kapoor, who was denied admission at Narayana Hospital on this Ayushman Card, has been approached by different organizations of the government to get all documents take further action against the hospital. “For the last two days, I was approached by different government agencies to get authentic proof”, Kapoor told the Early Times and added that authorities of the Ayushman Bharat scheme have asked him to file a written complaint.
“Today I have formally filed a written complaint before the authorities of Ayushman Bharat scheme”, he said and hoped that action will be taken against the hospital for not admitting me on Ayushman Bharat card.
Sources said that higher-ups in the administration were very much aware that all government schemes were confined only on papers, but they were least concerned about the woes of the people.
“Instead of checking ground situation regarding the implementation of these schemes in J&K, those at the helm of the affairs are busy in befooling central government through publicity and advertisement”, sources said and added that during the last one year the incumbent administration was busy only on publicity. |
