| GDC Khour conducts cleanliness drive at heritage pond in Narayana village | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 14: NCC and NSS units of GDC Khour organized a cleanliness drive of local heritage pond at village Narayana, Khour.
The programme was organized under the aegis of “Clean India Campaign”. This drive is part of the month long activities being undertaken by the college. NCC cadets and NSS volunteers cleaned the water body and its surrounding area. Speaking on the occasion Prof. Arun Sharma recalled the history of the pond and its importance to the inhabitants of the area. He also impressed upon the students to conserve these local water bodies to protect the environment. The programme was conducted under the dynamic leadership of Principal GDC Khour Prof. Rama Badyal and organized by Prof. Arun Sharma, NCC Officer and Prof. Gurvinder Kour, NSS Programme Officer. |
