Jammu, Dec 14: In the backdrop of the official handout issued by the Office of the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) Jammu on Wednesday in which the office has refuted the news report titled ‘Gadbad Gotala Rs. 78.63 Lakh paid to 72 'non-existent migrant families in Jammu.’
The Early Times newspaper wants to make it amply clear to its readers that the paper stands by the report and has documentary proof of the same. The audit conducted by the Comptroller Auditor General of India in its report number 2 of the year 2021 also has pointed out the clear loopholes in the process.
