| GDC Banihal organizes seminar on energy conservation | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
BANIHAL, Dec 14: Department of Physics in collaboration with Debates and Seminar Committee of Govt Degree College (GDC) Banihal organized a seminar on National Energy Conservation Day today under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, in the conference hall of the College.
In the inaugural address Principal, Dr Manohar Lal apprised the students about the importance of this day.
Prof. Bashir Ahmed, HOD Physics delivered the lecture on energy conservation.
He highlighted the importance of energy conservation at household, community and industry level.
He impressed upon the students to aware public about energy efficient equipments and use of non-renewable sources of energy.
The seminar was attended by a good number of students and all the faculty members.
The resource person on this occasion interacted with the students by responding to their queries.
The proceeding of the seminar was carried out by Convener Debates and Seminar Committee, Prof. Sajad Ahmad Sultan, HOD Urdu.
At the end the Seminar was concluded with vote of thanks presented by Prof. Aabid Aziz HOD Economics. |
