| GCW Parade organizes Shloka recitation competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 14: Department of Sanskrit Government College for Women (GCW) Parade, Jammu organized an online Shloka recitation competition in collaboration with Department of Sanskrit GDC Nowshera, today on the occasion of Shrimad Bhagwatgeeta Jayanti. 20 students participated in the competition and recited the Shlokas from Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta. The program was coordinated by Dr. Mamta Sharma HOD Sanskrit GCW Parade and Dr. Gourav Sharma HOD GDC Nowshera. Two students Vishal from GDC Nowshera and Isha from GCW Parade stood 1st, whereas Ruchi from GCW Parade and Ashwani from GDC Nowshera achieved 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Dr. Anupama Sharma (Assistant Prof. Department of Hindi, GCW Parade) and Dr. Rajni Sharma (Associate Prof. Department of Sociology, GDC Nowshera) were the jury members. Dr. SP Sarswat, Principal GCW Parade and Dr. Surinder Kumar, Principal GDC Nowshera appreciated the activity and encouraged the students to participate in such events.
