| GDC RS Pura conducts cleanliness drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 14: The NSS unit of Govt Degree College (GDC) RS Pura carried out a cleanliness drive in Govt City Middle School, RS Pura as a part of Clean India Program (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) under the patronship of Principal of the college, Prof Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer.
About 30 volunteers participated in the event. During the cleanliness drive volunteers cleaned the premises of the school.
They cleaned the classrooms and playground of the school.
They picked up the plastic items like wrappers, plastic bottles and polythene, thereby cleaning the premises. NSS Volunteers also interacted with the staff of the school.
The Head of the school appreciated the work of NSS volunteers.
The entire program was coordinated by Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur. |
