Jammu, Dec 14: Three shops gutted in a fire that broke out in Katra town of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir. Police on Tuesday said that fire engulfed three shops during wee hours on Tuesday in Katra town. “Short circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the fire but the matter is being investigated,” police said. Additional Superintendent of Police, Katra, Amit Bhasin, while confirming about the fire incident said, “On receiving information our teams immediately swung into action and three fire tenders were pressed into service.” “The police along with fire fighters and locals timely acted to control the fire and prevented it from spreading to the nearby shops,” said the SP.
