| NHPC organizes blood donation camp | | |

JAMMU, Dec 14: A blood donation camp was organized in NHPC Office Complex, Jammu today under "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav". This camp was organized in collaboration with Govt. Medical college Jammu. NHPC employees, CISF jawans and persons from other departments/ organizations voluntarily donated blood on this occasion. Dr. Niti Dutt and her medical team from GMC in association with NHPC RO Medical team headed by Dr R.S Rathi, CMO conducted this blood donation camp wherein a total of 45 unit blood was collected.
Rajan Kumar, Executive Director, NHPC Regional Office, Jammu formally inaugurated the blood Camp in the office premises. On the occasion, he said that blood donation is a virtuous act and in the prevailing scenario it is the best contribution one can make to society. To organize blood donation camps under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav a meaningful effort can be made to fulfill our social obligations. He said that the organizing of blood donation camps at various locations of NHPC shows the proactive attitude of our CMD A.K Singh towards humanity and commitment to the society. S.K Jana, GM (F), P Sathyamurthi, GM (HR), Dr R.S Rathi, CMO and other senior officers, Employees & medical staff were also present on the occasion. |
