| GDC Purmandal organizes poster making, slogan writing competition | | |

JAMMU, Dec 14: Department of Environmental Sciences, Government Degree College, Purmandal under the headship of Prof. Shahima Akhter organized poster making and slogan writing competition to celebrate ‘National Energy Conservation Day’. The day is observed every year on December 14 to raise awareness about the significance of energy and the need of conserving energy by using less energy.
The students of the college enthusiastically participated in the event. Principal of the college Prof. Seema Mir in her address stressed that the most precise way to conserve energy is to use less energy through reducing energy waste and energy conservation should be entrenched in every human’s behavior in order to store it for future use. |
