Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 4: Chairperson Women Club Meri Pehchaan (WCMP) Sandhya Gupta along with Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta as the Chief Guest, Padma Shri SP Verma, Commandant Kamal Shishodia, CEO Manmeet Singh, Mehrunnisa, Sanjeev Parbhakar as the guest of honour and complete team of WCMP felicitated youth who bagged medals in Youth Games Development Federation of India (YGDFI) competition held at Mathura (UP) from December 28 to 30, 2021. Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson Sandhya Gupta said that today WCMP is felicitating children and youth who brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by winning gold and silver medals in Youth Games Development Federation of India competition. She further briefed that 77 children and youth from various districts and localities of J&K including Poonch, Rajouri, Samba, Kathua, Akhnoor and Ramban participated in the competition. Participants who bagged medals included Anjali Sharma U17 (Gold), Priyanka U17 (Gold) 200m, Anjali U19 (Gold) 10 kms, Tannu Gupta U17 (Gold) Badminton, Volleyball team U-19 (Gold), U-17 (Silver), Wrestling Shiva Bhogal U-19( Gold), Sunil Kumar U-17(Gold) where as Kabaddi U-17 (Silver), U-19 Boys team won (Gold) Badminton, Mohit Salaria U-14 (Gold), Rahul Salaria U-17(Gold) Ashish Kumar U-19 (Gold). All the participants were accompanied by Sweety Jyotshi, State Secretary and Sanjay Kumar, Coordinator of Udhampur. |
