Dy Mayor kick starts vaccination drive at GGHSS Canal Road | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 4: Dy Mayor Purnima Sharma along with Dr Geetu Dutta and medical staff member Raj Kumari kick started the vaccination drive of 15-17 years age group here today Govt Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Canal Road. During the visit, Purnima Sharma also reviewed the sanitation condition of the school and also interacted with the individuals of the 15-17 years age group who had come to get vaccinated with their first dose of covid vaccine. Speaking on the occasion, Dy Mayor Purnima Sharma said that as per the directions of Prime Minister, today we have started off the vaccination drive of 15-17 years age group Adv Purnima Sharma further said that every individual falling in the age group of 15-17 should get themselves vaccinated as this will help in ensuring their safety from COVID-19 virus as well as Omicron and further help in winning the battle against corona virus. At the end, Dy Mayor appealed to the general public not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on the rise again and only to go out when it's important and while wearing double masks and practicing social distancing. |
