Kulgam, Jan 4: Two unidentified militant were killed in an encounter in Okay Village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police, army’s RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Okey kulgam.
He said that the militants were repeatedly asked to surrender, which they turned down and fired upon forces, triggering an encounter.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar (IPS) said that the slain militants were affiliated with TRF militant outfit and were involved in number of terror activities. |
