EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 4: All India Students' Federation (AISF) today held a protest under the leadership of State President Sanjay Kotwal here at Jammu and demanded the postponement of Jammu Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector (JKPSI) Exams. While addressing media personnel, Kotwal said that JKSSB had released the detailed Syllabus recently for JKPSI after the closure of online applications. But the time for preparation of exam is not sufficient. "The syllabus for the exam is very vast and requires 3-4 months to cover entire syllabus especially for the fresh aspirants. This is injustice to the serious aspirants and we demand to authorities to postponed the exam," he added. AISF activist Babar Azam Rather said, this exam should be postponed so as to provide level playing field for all aspirants of JKSSB JKPSI. In this regard today we're protesting here for seeking timely intervention of the authorities to Postpone the exam. Students of the Colleges and Universities also require time for preprations for exam after the release of syllabus but in no time SSB has released the Syllabus and wants aspirants to sit in exam within one and a half month is very unfortunate, Zubay Malik said. "Our demand is clear, we don't want 6 or 8 months for preparation, we just want 3 to 4 months, so that we can get physically as well as mentally prepared for this exam," aspirant Yasir Zargar said. Other members and aspirants including Babar Khan, Yasir Ali, Talib Hussain, Zulfikar Malik, Mohd Irfan, Nazir Sheikh, Ajaz Rather, Mohd Shakeel and Adeeba Malik also joined the protest. |
