Mehndar, Jan 4: Sarpanch Gursai Harmutta Sameena Khan demanding block topping of old alignment road from kikar mor to kasyote which was constructed ten years ago. Khan alleged against PWD Department for worst condition of road from kikar mor to kasyote which needs immediate repair and black topping.
Local villagers of Harmutta panchayat also demanding repair and black topping the worst condition road of kikar mor to kasyote
Sameena Khan said that because of worst condition of this 2-km road, shifting pregnant women and sick old persons to District Hospital poonch was full of danger to their lives.
The said road was sanctioned and approved under PWD for completion within two years. However, even after lapse of the deadline, the work has not been completed due to which people are facing problems. The matter was brought into the notice of political leaders and senior officials of the concerned department but nothing was done to ensure completion of the road work,
Meanwhile, a metting was organized by the locals under the leadership of sameena Khan and request to deputy commissioner poonch for repair and black topping of kikar mor to kasyote road. |
