Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 20: Blaming Congress for keeping people deprived for decades to various schemes of Government, former Minister and ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma targeted the selfish approach of Congress and its leaders.
He said this while starting developmental works at Janipur Colony area of Ward 37 along with Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Purnima Sharma and Councillor Sunita Gupta. Mandal President Raveesh Mengi also accompanied the leader.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that for decades they (Congress) ruled at the helms but what they did in this long span of time is in front of everyone. He said they never wanted poor and needy to prosper in the country and the only thing they did was to divide the country in the name of caste and religion which led to many unwanted happenings, he added. He said that the time has come now to completely wipe them out from the system of this country because their presence can also be dangerous for the cordial atmosphere of J&K which has been built with the hard work of BJP and PM Modi. Purnima Sharma said that development is the core agenda of BJP and Jammu Municipal Corporation is committed to serve the public in every way possible without causing problems for them. She also talked about the works taken by the Corporation for the welfare of Jammu.
Sunita Gupta said that being one of the largest wards of JMC, it is her priority to reach out to every household. She claimed that Ward 37 is amongst the modern wards and stated that several developmental works were taken.
Kulbir Singh, Sahil Gupta, Ramesh Sharma, Rakesh Gupta, Neeru Sehgal, Kamlesh Shan, Vicky Sharma, Vikas, Ramesh Gupta, BL Tikoo and several others were also present on the occasion.
