Jammu, Jan 20: Employees of Power Development Department have asked the government to fulfill the promises made to them by February 1, 2022 and if the commitments made to them are not fulfilled they can go on strike again. The PDD employees are claiming that none of their issues from daily wagers to chief engineers are stuck in the office of Chief Secretary. The leader of the PDD employees Sachin Tickoo in a tweet has stated that the employees can go on strike from Fe > PDD employees threaten to go on strike from Feb 1 > Accuse J&K Govt of not fulfilling its promises ruary 1, 2022, as nothing has been done to meet the demands they had raised. It’s in place to mention here that when the PDD employees went on a strike last month people faced a lot of problems as the government couldn’t restore power in the areas that developed technical snags. “If the government continues to sit on the demands of the PDD employees, a common man in J&K can face the power crisis yet again and the issue can snowball into a major problem for the citizens,” said an observer. |
