| YCET faculty delivers talk on ‘Innovation, Commercialization & Technology Transform’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 20: “Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things. ” Believing this quote, Er Loveneesh Talwar, HOD Electrical Department, YCET has been invited as a keynote speaker to deliver Online Expert talk on ‘Innovation, Commercialization & Technology Transform’ which was organized by Institution’s Innovation Council with collaboration with St. Xavier Catholic College of Engineering & Technology.
Session was started with the Innovation, Difference between Invention and Innovation, Principles of Successful Innovation, Techniques of Innovation.
During the lecture, he also explained the Importance of Entrepreneurship- it Reduces Poverty Level, Increases Employment, Fulfills the Demand of people and Helps to develop Economic Condition of a country.
He emphasized on the concept of job givers rather than job seekers. He also talked on Innovation Development & Technology Transform, in which he explained the difference between Invention and Innovation, types of Innovation, Techniques for Innovation, and Principles for Successful Innovation along with the case study about the story behind Tata Nano. Further continuing his session he also explains Commercialization, Factors Influence Commercialization also the role of Government.
In the end, Er Lovneesh Talwar thanked Dr. M. Marsaline Beno, Vice Principal and Dean of Academics Affairs for inviting him for giving him opportunity to deliver guest lecture.
Overall the exposure knowledge and modern trends proved many folds beneficial for him who took to this opportunity in the fullest and motivate other faculty to participate in such events. He also mentions the immense gratitude for the management of YCET and for Dr. A.K. Srivatsva (Director YCET). |
