SUNDERBANI, Jan 30: Congress today observed martyrs day of father of nation Mahatma Gandhi at Sunderbani in which large number of Congress workers took part.
A function held at party Hqs Sunderbani by the Block Congress Congress Committee led by Block President Sunderbani Nain Chand Sharma, DFO retd, and attended by block president Siot Sdr Ajeet Singh, Capt Babu Ram Sharma,Chuni Lal, Raj Kumar Raina, Mahesha Shah, Ashwani Kumar, Babbu Gupta, Sonu Kohli Om Parkash and others. Rich tributes were paid to the father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi ji and his philosphy and teachings were recalled. The leaders took pledge to follow his philosphy of religion tolerance and respect for each other which is key to live in peace and harmony.
Later two minutes silence was also observed to pray for eternal peace to the soul of senior congress leader of Sunderbani Sukhdass Sudan, who expired today morning . They shared the grief and sorrow of the family members. |
