| RNSS demands govt job, compensation for acid victim | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 3: Rashtriya Nirman Sena Sangathan (RNSS) National Secretary Shahnawaz Ahanger said that J&K Government should bear the entire expenses for the treatment of the acid attack victim girl on humanitarian grounds. Condemning the attack on the Srinagar girl, Shahnawaz Ahanger said that his Organization and he demand high level investigation on acid attack. He said that whatever the family of the girl will spend whether, on the medical front or legal front, LG Administration should foot the bill. He said it's a human issue that should be looked through the prism of humanity," he said adding that if the family wants to shift the victim to the outside hospital Government should bear expenses. Expressing solidarity with the victim, Ahanger said it was very unfortunate that this hapless girl became a victim of a heinous crime against humanity especially women. He said the government should take every step to ensure that exemplary punishment is awarded to the accused involved in such a dastardly act. Such offenders do not deserve leniency, he said and hailed the role of police for their speedy action. Ahanger also demanded a government job for the victim. |
