Govt dashed our hopes: Border Battalion aspirants | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 7: The aspirants of border battalion have urged the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene in the matter and direct the concerned authorities hold the examination at the earliest so that the youth who wish to join the battalion get a chance to work and support their respective families. The aspirants carried on with their protest and raised slogans in favour of their demands. They said the decision of the government not to hold examination for the battalion for the time being has dashed their hopes of getting a job and supporting their family members. They demanded that the examination should be held at the earliest so that they are absolved of all the tension. |
