Dire need to change governance; vote for BJP to achieve ‘Nasha Mukt Nawa Punjab’: Kavinder
Only BJP can fulfill aspirations of Punjab: Kavinder
2/16/2022 11:09:35 PM

Early times Report

GURDASPUR, Feb 16: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has asserted that the people of Punjab direly need change of governance as Congress has failed on all fronts by delivering nothing with the people left in quandary to fend for themselves.
The senior BJP leader stated this while addressing a series of meetings at Gurdaspur, Dera Baba Nanak, Pathankot and Sujanpur in connection with the upcoming Assembly polls in Punjab.
Kavinder Gupta said that the erstwhile trouble torn State of Jammu and Kashmir had been in utter turmoil due to terrorism and misgovernance by successive regimes. However since 2014, when the BJP came to power at the Centre, J&K which is a Union Territory today has been witnessing unprecedented development on all fronts. He said for over seven decades continued to be deprived of development due to non-serious approach of successive governments and the change of governance brought a remarkable change across this Union Territory which is now having two AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Ring Roads, flyovers, Katra Delhi Expressway, foreign investments worth Rs. 200 crore by Dubai based Lulu Group and many more. All this has been possible due to BJP Govt at the Centre, he added.
The former Dy CM said that while BJP is trying its best to strengthen National Integration as it did in J&K by abrogating Article 370, the Congress party is leaving no stone unturned in promoting fissions and communal divides. He said that this is evident from the statement made by Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Channi in presence of Priyanka Gandhi, AICC General Secretary during an election rally the other day whereby he said, Congress Govt will ensure that Punjab provides full rights to its people and people from other states like UP, Bihar, etc will not be allowed to settle here.”
Kavinder appealed to the people of Punjab to oust the present Congress government and vote in favour of BJP so that it forms its own government in Punjab and people get rid of the miseries added to their woes by the Congress Government in the State.
Asserting that BJP will completely transform the State of Punjab after its government comes to power in the land of five rivers, Kavinder said that BJP is fully committed to overall development in every nook and corner of the nation especially the far flung and remote areas. Moreover it believes in special focus on security of the nation and its people. He said that Punjab being a Border state needs to keep its borders safe not only for national security but even for ending the menace of drugs that has already eaten the vitals of the Punjabi society especially the youth.
Vociferously seeking votes for the BJP candidates, Kavinder Gupta promised that people of Punjab will witness the transformation of Punjab under PM Modi’s vision of ‘Nawa Punjab’ a ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab if the people bring the BJP to power in Punjab state. He asked people of Punjab to vote BJP for development as BJP can only fulfill the aspirations of Punjab. Among those who were present include Bal Krishan Mittal, Jatinder Pardesi, Rajinder Bitta, Karishan Digra, Ayodhya Gupta, Rakesh Jyoti, Vijay Verma, Atul Mahajan and Sudhir Mahajan.
