Shiv Sena gears up for upcoming elections, aims to fulfill public dreams | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 7: The Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit today geared up the party cadre for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. According to the press release issued here today, a meeting was called on the guidelines of party national secretary and MP Anil Desai, a meeting was held under the leadership of president UT J&K Manish Sahni with potential candidates, district presidents and state core committee members at Party's Central Office in Jammu to initiate the selection process of candidates, having potential to garner public support, from each Assembly constituency for the upcoming Assembly elections. Under the stewardship of Manish Sahni, the Party's Core Committee directed the party cadre to start process of knowing the aspirations and problems being faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He asked party cadre to visit every area and contact the people apprising them of the policies and programme of the Party and also take feedback from their expectation from the party. Sahni said that Shiv Sena candidates will fight like a lion in Jammu and Kashmir and hit its target lime "Teer Kaman" to fulfill public dreams. He directed all the potential candidates present to go to the public and prepare the election vision "Jan Akanksha Patra" according to their basic issues and needs. Meenakshi Chhibber, Vikas Bakshi, Rakesh Gupta, GI Singh, Sandeep Bhagat, Harsh Gupta, Deepak Sharma, Raj Singh, Ghulam Rasool Lone, Naseema Begum and others were also present on the occasion. |
